Thats right, Spendly is for sale. The buyer will get ownership of spendly.com, including: domain name, design assets (concepts, application design, marketing site, logo, misc), source code (PHP, CodeIgniter, MySQL). Buyer will also receive ownership of the Spendly iPhone application, including all artwork (concepts, released, prototypes, marketing site, etc) and source code (Objective-C).
Spendly gets a small amount of traffic, and has a small number of users. Most users are non-active, as Spendly has been collecting dust for the better part of a year. The iPhone app was initially $0.99, and sold fairly well for a few months. After having no updates, I made it free, and eventually removed it from the store as I’m unable to support it.
I do believe Spendly is valuable, and in the right (motivated) hands, could do well. There is a market for simple budget tools. My asking price is $20,000 USD.

I’d rather see someone else take ownership of spending and improve it, than see it suffer under my neglect. Spendly has always been a fun project, but I simply have no time for it right now. I would love to remain involved with the project as an advisor.
